Paul Harness BSc (Hons) LBIPP DipM; photography
By booking with an experienced, professional wedding photographer, you are assured that your day will run more smoothly. I take a combination of formal (traditional / posed) and informal (natural / reportage/candid style) photographs in all the packages I offer, in colour with the option of black & white or sepia, not limiting the number of photos taken (unlike many others) to avoid missing anything. From these photos, you can choose prints to go into your main album.
Included in most of the package prices is my time for your day including coverage from home (except economy packages), through the wedding ceremony and on to the reception, usually up until you go in for your wedding breakfast, and the prints in an album (see each package for details of what’s included). Speeches & evening coverage is also available (£40 per hour)
My approach is a relaxed, friendly one. After all, it’s your day and you shouldn’t be bossed around by anyone! I will take your photos in as fast a time as possible so as not to eat into your time on your wedding day. I photograph across a wide area of Yorkshire, and have covered weddings in Leeds, York, Harrogate, Bradford, Wakefield and further afield (longer distances sometimes accrue additional travel costs).
In every package, I will take both formal / traditional / posed photographs, as well as a good selection of informal / candid / reportage / grab shots. The proportion can be varied according to your preference.
Both medium format (120 / 6x4.5cm) film and high end digital cameras are used. Medium format (a much larger negative than traditional 35mm film) allows greater clarity & quality in the printing of photographs, as well as much bigger enlargements. Digital printing technology allows a very broad range of services once the photograph has been taken (see extras) for both film and digital images.
I am a licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography; one of the most highly respected professional bodies in the industry.
I hold insurance cover for most eventualities (although it is always recommendable that you seek wedding insurance to cover all the aspects of your day; see the links on this site).
VAT is included in all prices at the current rate (which may change)
